Recipes for Wellbeing

Delicious + Nutritious Recipes for Wellness

Eating can either heal us or harm us. Don’t underestimate the value healthy, natural food can bring into your day. Fruits, vegetables, wild foods, herbs and spices, and other plant-based foods nourish us on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Processed and refined foods can damage our delicate system and deplete our natural energy. Our choices around what we consume directly influence our health, our emotions, and the entire planet.

Food is a tool. It can be used as a distraction, a way to numb our awareness or anesthetize our emotions around stressful situations; but it can also be used as a powerful tool to rejuvenate our physical and mental health, to strengthen our individual skills, and to connect with others and our planet as a whole. The art of cooking and preparing food is an excellent way to enhance mindfulness of eating, increase our self-care, express ourselves creatively, and improve our culinary focus.

Every time we eat, we have an opportunity to practice mindfulness as we explore the subtle tastes, textures, and sensations of consciously nourishing ourselves. We practice gratitude for all the hard work, energy, and time that went into producing the food we're so fortunate to have.
