Life can be stressful! The constant balance between personal life, work, and relationships can leave us feeling overwhelmed and depleted. We can recite this meditation quietly to ourselves whenever we're feel our peacefulness is being threatened. 
Breathing in, I go back to the island within myself,
Breathing out, I see the beautiful trees on this island.
 Breathing in, I'm refreshed by the beautiful light on the water,
 Breathing out, I'm grateful for the birds, sunshine, and fresh air.
Breathing in, I feel peace,
​Breathing out, I am solid.

Our Inner Oasis

As we breathe mindfully along with this meditation, we are creating a safe space for our thoughts and emotions. We invite calmness into our oasis as we use slow, deep breathing to clear our mind of stress and worry. No matter what is happening around us or where we are, we can always come back to the safe refuge we've built inside ourselves. The more we practice developing this personal place of peace, the easier it will be to access it when we're needing relief.
